If you dont like PvP EFT isnt your cup of tea, but DayZ at least holds the possibility to find some non-PvP servers - but dont expect that to be the common DayZ in its origin is hardcore PvP as well, even though some people neglect this.Jumping into an Escape from Tarkov Raid alone can be a daunting experience. Overall both games are different but should attract the same kind of players. list could go one quite a while as a lot is still missing basically no weapon attachements/ modding no basebuilding (offworld "base" is planned) more sophisticated health, armor and ballistic model trading system with npc traders and player market lower playercount but smaller maps - more encounters than DayZ faster pacing you go into raids and have an offworld stash where your equipement is save one raid lasts 30-60 minutes no open world as of now (planned but wouldnt expect it for at least 2 years) Movement much more ellaborated than in DayZ Much more content in regards to equipment, weapons and weaponmods Combat system & weapon customization much more sophisticated than current DayZ But imho it doesnt really matter, as both games have a solid enough playerbase to find likely mineded if you want to. Community wise its hard to say - DayZ bled most of its community and EFT is much younger than DayZ. Ive played both pretty extensively (1K hrs+) and both are pretty fun. Originally posted by Kroyotov:im kinda stuck between choosing which one to get, Dayz has a decent (mostly unhappy) playerbase, and im not sure if the other has an active community, has anyone tried both and care to give an insight. i might watch some videos about the 2 games and decide, thanks for your advice my friend. Wow thank you for the detailed explanation! it clarified a few things, i have played scum before, but i didnt like it that much, ive also played pubg before, but currently there's no OCE servers. It's hard to recommend DayZ not because its not fun but because if you. DayZ has also 1 or 2 battle royale servers and a few good community servers other then the ones I mentioned. DayZ Underground sometimes has a pasword too but its been open all the time lately. I assume they still go, "Reach for the sky!" and when you hit f5 to raise your hands they shoot you. You can also apply for the DayzRP whitelisted (white list means its passowred) server which people obviously roleplay and they dont kill on sight. Originally posted by Edwin:I play on DayZ Underground and a lot of people talk to you and are nice but a lot of people kill you. Do you have any friends to play with? Knowing people makes it so much better. I want you to die dayz though because Ive had some good times. Now he's saying you pi ss and ♥♥♥♥♥ in scum and some guy made his character so fat he became unplayable. You might like Scum its like DayZ but it tracks your weight and there are robots in it but I've never played it so I can vouch for it. Scum? My friend played Scum and said it was okay. In PUBG theres a zone that spawns and you have to run to the zone or you start dying. You air drop on to the map and you just pick up loot. Team up with a random guy as a team, or up to 3 others for a 4 man squad. I've played PUBG and its a fun battle royale game on a large map. I know Escape from Tarkov is more of an open shooter like PUBG and I think PUBG is better at that. If you are looking for a game where you just kill people have you checked out PUBG? Public Unknown Battlegrounds. I dont recommend it because I think PUBG or Scum would be better just from what Ive heard.
